Dentist

Dr Jarrad Elson joined the team at Port Lincoln Dental in early 2020, after a year away working in the United Kingdom.

An Eyre Peninsula local, Jarrad grew up in Wudinna, completing his schooling at Wudinna Area School and St Joseph’s School in Port Lincoln, before studying Dentistry in Adelaide where he graduated in 2011.

Known for his friendly nature, Jarrad excels at making anxious people feel at ease, and finds that the most rewarding part of being a dentist is when people say that they’re no longer afraid of visiting the dentist!

Jarrad regularly assists oral surgeon Dr Ben Grave in theatre, and is constantly striving to increase his knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry, particularly oral medicine and surgery.

Outside of dentistry, Jarrad has a number of interests, such as reading, travelling, playing sports such as football and table tennis, and writing.

In 2018 released his debut children’s picture book, Cheetah the Cheater, which has become a firm favourite among many families on the Eyre Peninsula with young kids.

He is currently working on the sequel.
